YAW OWUSU-BREMPONG DONATES SPORTING EQUIPMENT TO TWO EDUCATIONAL CIRCUITS

In fulfilment of his promise to support the ongoing schools sports tournaments in the Asutifi South district, the Hon. Yaw Owusu-Brempong, the NPP parliamentary candidate for the area, has donated assorted sports equipment to both Sunkwa and Twabidi educational circuits. This took place yesterday, Friday 25th October 2019.

This donation exercise forms part of Hon. Owusu-Brempong's drive to motivate the youths of the Asutifi South constituency through sporting activities.

The team that led the donation exercise in Sunkwa Circuit included Mr. Godfred, Hon. Moro Ibn Chambas (Constituency Youth Organizer), Hon. Owusu Boakye Samuel (Deputy Constituency Youth Organizer), Anafo Prosper (Sunkwa Zonal Coordinator), along with Edward Boateng-Amonia, Nana Kofi, and Saeed Kountryman (Campaign Aides).

The Twabidi team was comprised of Hon. Nana Kyei Baffour (Constituency 2nd Vice Chairman), Hon. Opoku Thomas - Sankara (Dep. Constituency Organizer), Osei Richmond, Man Pelee, Joe, Oppong Bismark (Campaign Aides), and Taller (NPP Ayargo).

The donation comprised of two (2) sets of sixteen (16) jerseys each, three (3) standard footballs per zone, and some packs of soft drinks. Also given to the various circuits (zones) were cash prizes for the best players of each final match.

The items (including the cash) were received by the Chairmen and Organizers of the respective zonal sports committees. They expressed their gratitude to the Hon. Yaw Owusu-Brempong for making good his promise to them.

COLLINS DAUDA IS A DISGRACE TO PARLIAMENT

It is high time this old fox of an MP, Collins Dauda, disembroilled himself from his tribal dogmatism. Having gone to Parliament for many years, one would have expected that his advanced years could dictate to him to offload certain traits which are inimical to the peace and unity of the very people he has led over the years. Maybe the many MPs from the north on the ticket of the NPP are not true Northerners! I am sure that Dr. Bawumia, the Vice President of the Republic, is from Nzema.
