It is high time this old fox of an MP, Collins Dauda, disembroilled himself from his tribal dogmatism.
Having gone to Parliament for many years, one would have expected that his advanced years could dictate to him to offload certain traits which are inimical to the peace and unity of the very people he has led over the years.
This bigot of an MP still dwells, sadly, in the dark ages. He still rides to the top using ethnocentricism.
Collins Dauda, in a speech, has appealed to the people of northern descent not to pitch camps with the NPP since the party doesn't like the progress of Northerners.
Maybe the many MPs from the north on the ticket of the NPP are not true Northerners! I am sure that Dr. Bawumia, the Vice President of the Republic, is from Nzema. The Hassan Tampulis, Awal Mohammeds, Amin Antahs are from the Ashanti Region!
To him, the NDC is the party for the people of the north. Meanwhile, where he is an MP is not in the northern part of the country. Such a senseless statement from someone who should know better galls me.
So those who vote for him and the NDC who are not from the north are not humans enough? Or they are fools? When will these people realize that we have gone far and that these things have gradually taken the backseat?
In the early 90s, such pronouncements did work on the electorate but these days, they hardly gift one any advantage.
We are quick to attack South Africans who engage in xenophobic attacks, meanwhile, some old dishonourable legislator is gleefully fanning ethnocentric and hate speeches in Ghana!
Such a coward is loudly making noise now because he smuggled his murderer of a brother out of the country.
We must go to every length to legitimately oust this unfit for purpose MP from Parliament, for he is a disgrace to that august House!
