HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KROBEA

Here we make a toast to the name of one untiring soul, he who lives in the dawn of his time.

Even as he strides these parts, with the swiftness of feet and wittiness of mind, I can bet he is yet to live out the first hour of the foremost day marking his first of a thousand seasons.

Krobea: named for fame, famed for his name - the Hand of Favour has nurtured a man sobered with fervour.

Able tenderer of Citizen Number 2, commandant of a penning front; lovely family man; seniormost; his mentees are a legion.

On this day, as we celebrate a man fashioned of worth, we seek for him, in prayer, a path of wholesome provisions. That men may rise and gods may curse, dwarfs may confound and heathens may abound, but this vessel of candour shall be exalted beyond all reproach.

The writings on the walls speak in tonnes. The pens on the platforms did well write, raised, and the sheets very well dried. The words from the mouths deafen the ears. The unspoken nearly equate the unheard, but both their testimony cannot even be inked - for they can only be counted in their million worth.

Krobea Kwabena Asante: I have come to know a man - a man of the people.

Godspeed. Just Godspeed, my heartfelt wish.

Belated happy birthday, Sir.

The ambulance is part of the 307 ambulances recently procured and distributed under President Akufo-Addo's 'One Constituency One Ambulance' initiative, and which was officially handed over to the constituency yesterday. Speaking at the event, Hon. Yaw Owusu-Brempong recounted countless number of times referral patients have had to took in vain for an ambulance. He termed the intervention a life saver and called for it to be maintained well. He also assured the hospital that, in addition to the ultramodern ward he built for the facility, he was poised to do more, for the lo...

COLLINS DAUDA IS A DISGRACE TO PARLIAMENT

It is high time this old fox of an MP, Collins Dauda, disembroilled himself from his tribal dogmatism. Having gone to Parliament for many years, one would have expected that his advanced years could dictate to him to offload certain traits which are inimical to the peace and unity of the very people he has led over the years. This bigot of an MP still dwells, sadly, in the dark ages. He still rides to the top using ethnocentricism. Collins Dauda, in a speech, has appealed to the people of northern descent not to pitch camps with the NPP since the party doesn't like the progress of Northerners. Maybe the many MPs from the north on the ticket of the NPP are not true Northerners! I  am sure that Dr. Bawumia, the Vice President of the Republic, is from Nzema. The Hassan Tampulis, Awal Mohammeds, Amin Antahs are from the Ashanti Region! To him, the NDC is the party for the people of the north. Meanwhile, where he is an MP is not in the northern part of the country. Such a se...
